Lace vs BOA vs Speed Lace
Traditional laces give you the most customizable fit. BOA systems are quick, easy, and consistent – great for beginners and riders who want to dial in without fussing. Speed lace (or hybrid systems) split the difference with fast tightening and zoned control. Call us at (614) 848-6600 and we’ll help you decide. Boot fitting guide.
Flex Ratings
Snowboard boot flex runs from soft (1-4) to stiff (8-10). Beginners and freestyle riders typically prefer a softer flex (3-5) for comfort and forgiveness. All-mountain and advanced riders often prefer medium to stiff (5-8) for better response and carving precision.
