Description
The Oakley MOD5 MIPS Helmet and Oakley Flow Scape L Goggles are bought here as one package, and because both pieces are Oakley the goggle sits flush against the helmet brim with no gap across your forehead. The venting lines up as designed too, and the lens shape is the reason you see more of the run and less of the frame.
- MIPS low friction layer lets the shell shift slightly on an angled impact
- Injection molded Dura-Matter shell resists dents and dings
- Hybrid shell keeps the weight down without giving up durability
- Conical lens sits closer to your face, opening up the view without the frame in your way
- Prizm Snow optics tune contrast to pull detail out of flat light
- Anti fog treated inner lens keeps the view clear when you stop moving
Colors: helmet in Blackout, Forged Iron, Matte Sand/black, Matte White.

Helmet Safety & Sizing
How to Measure Your Head
Using a soft tape measure, wrap it around your head about 1 inch above your eyebrows. That measurement in centimeters is your helmet size. Most helmets run in S/M/L/XL with size ranges printed on the box. If you’re between sizes, size up and use the fit dial to snug it down.
MIPS Technology
MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is a low-friction layer inside the helmet that allows the helmet to rotate slightly on impact, reducing rotational forces on the brain. We recommend MIPS for most skiers and snowboarders – it’s especially valuable for kids and those who take big falls.
